Forum members, please help identify this Vacheron Constatin!

Hello All:

A little bit of background, a close family friend recently passed away, was helping his wife going through his belonging and found what looks like a VC Overseas.  I'm not an expert when it comes to VC as a brand and its model range, so was wondering the members here can lend a helping hand in identifying this watch.

The most important question, is it authentic?  If so, what is the exactly model of this watch?  Also, was wondering if members can chip in on the price of the watch if we decided to sell it as a 2nd hand.

Here are the pictures:

Thanks for your help!
