Get dressed ?

I thought my fellow loungers might like this article about "how to dress at goldman Sachs" and in particular, the section dedicated to watches...

That guy has probably never heard of a Charvet tie! New socks every day?  Is he serious?? Doesn't he own a washing machine? Some interesting comments though, some droll and some that say "dic*head out loud! blush
It's time to 'pull your socks-up'!...

While I can sympathize with the author's comments on Rolex and Hublot; the shot at pocket watches was completely uncalled for broken heart.  Still, perhaps subscribing to the "new Patek" philosophy will allow for more bespoke suits...

Can you help me out? Where was the reference to pocket watches? Thanks, JB
Oh dear, Joseph

Hahaha the Hublot part cheeky hilarious!  I agree with JB that some comments are ridiculous but I'm not sure if the author is serious or they're "wanna-be funny exagerations"

I'm not sure anyone cares what they think.  Humerous but irrelevant.
I think you nailed it, Michael!

Aren't those the guys who got that huge bail-out and then turned around and started pissing it away. Niiiiice! Talk about spitting in the eye of the tax payer. I have a dress code for those's a grey flannel pyjama with black stripes and as jewelery...handcuffs and manacles! They won't even need a tie unless they were going to a "neck-tie" party. Joseph

As a finance student I can tell that whenever I hear young people talking about Goldman, they only say comments praising that firm, however when I listen to the seniors they talk REALLY negative stuff about them.

that  "Wearing a Rolex is like driving an Audi. It says you've got some money, but nothing to say." example/joke is so funny cause it's true!
I failed on several fronts...

...but then I'm not a banker. Reminded me of American Psycho, but sadly not as well written.
I miserably fail too! :-)
