Has a Vacheron "Boitier Officier" ever exist?

Dear Vacheron enthusiasts

I just wonder if such a Vacheron with an "opening cap" have ever exist?
There were "windowed" Vacheron but I don't now for an Officier.

Best Regards

My Top 3 in my favorite collection (excluding any EP models :-)), thanks Alex for sharing (by the way, those YG 47112 pictures remind me of an amazing article you had written in your "previous life")  That Russia LE Perpetual Calendar Retrograde is so beautiful. Thinking about it, I am surprised none of the Loungers have what is the nicest perp. calendar without moonphase... Cheers,  Francois

This Perpetual Calendar Chronograph... What a wonder  But in fact I was thinking of a Half Hunter case  (i finally found the english word) This is a Very old type of case and I really think it could be reinterpreted in a modern way to hide some marvels. This is a raw design who could figure out
that's quite a cool design!! What does the dial look like once you

The thing is I can not reproduce enamel or artistic dial. And I think that would be the most interessant with such a case or a mechanical marvel (like Breguet did it with his Tourbillon limited edition. But it was done in a very traditionnal way) An artistic moonphase like the perpetual calendar chronograph (most beautiful moonphase ever  ) could be also very interesting. (the Opus 4 of Harry Winston or the Sarpaneva are also great examples in this kind of idea). Or a day and Night in the same spirit. As Mechanical marvel, the tourbillon would be the "easiest way" but it lacks of the artistic touch. Imho what would be terrific, is a Minute Repeater automaton with a modern treatment. The idea is to have artistic touch of Vacheron Constantin hidden behind a "simple" case. I think that would fit perfectly  the company spirit and history. As always it is just idea of a dreaming young man ourtside Horology industry, but if they can stimulate Vacheron creation, that would be my best present. François Here is calendar to fill in but I find it very disapointing comparing to what it could be with artistic treatment.
It is indeed quite a cool design - I like it very much!

Can we compare a true Half unter case with a Seiko Disco Burger.   I don't criticize, I like Seiko very much, really, but the japanese reminds me of some 70's design and ideas with this kind of "affichage", "hour presentation" . Never mind that was just to share another design and ideas, hope you liked it. Best regards and sorry for my poor english François
