Hello introducing myself

The VC Overseas has been on my wish-list for quite some time and I finally got a 49140.  I'm really happy with it :)  I also considered the Royal Oak, Daytona, and the newer Overseas, but found the fit of the 49140 to be far better on my smaller wrist.  (VC if you're listening, I'm ready to buy a smaller Overseas any second now)

Here it is with one of my other all-time favorite chronographs

taste in watches but do prefer the larger diameters due to my 7.5" wrist. You have two of my favorites in your post and would be happy to hear about more of your collection as we get to know you here on THL. Thanks for the post hope you enjoy the experience.

Best to all,

Thanks and I'm jealous!  Just under 7" here and 40mm is pushing it for me.  My options are very limited nowadays :(

Welcome to THL Wristy!

I only have one chronograph, and its the exact same as your VC.  I have a 6.5 inch wrist, so I like the smaller size of the Gen. 1 OS models too.  BR, Dan

unlike Tim and dan I've never measured my wrist :-) But welcome to the Lounge and thanks for

I have long loved the Breguets, altthough I tend to the slightly larger cases, so I like the 3810 (that is the Type XX if I am not mistaken).  Ultimately, I chose to make my daily wearer "sport watch" the Overseas as well - I decided to go with the Dual time 49450, since I travel far more often than I use a chrono.  Although, I have been scouting other chronos lately.  Those are two very nice watches you have there.  Welcome to the lounge.

I'm probably done with chronographs for now.  The urge to buy is completely gone with the 49140 and Aeronavale.  I prefer the "vintage" vibe of the XX over the more technical looking XXI and XXII.  They are all really beaufitful watches though and I feel they are often overlooked and overshadowed by the Marine and the more traditional Breguets.  I'd definitely give them a look if you're looking for a sporty chronograph.

Great choice on the 49450 btw!
