Hello from a (not so) new member

Hi, I've been reading this forum for a bit more than a year now and I love it, I know it's a late introduction but anyways I would like to make a brief one: I'm a 21 yo finance student, I inherited my passion for horlogerie from my father and I've loved Vacheron Constantin ever since I saw his Overseas. Like I said I've been reading the posts almost every day for a year now and I'm glad to find a place full of people with such a nice taste in watches. I'm looking forward to my first VC and to share it here at the lounge ;) Cheers!

I do hope your studies go well and circumstances will allow you to acquire your first Vacheron Constantin watch in the not-too-distant future. In the meantime, given the choice, which model would you love to own? Best wishes Tony
Nice to see you here. Are you considering a few VC's for...

Thaks for the welcome guys. I really appreciate the good wishes, thank you Tony! As for my first VC I would like the american 1921, I've been asking for it as a graduation present cheeky but I'm pretty sure I'll buy it with my own money hahaha after that I'll like a patrimony contemporaine. I still have a year left before finishing my studies so at least in the near future I don't think l'll be getting any of those :(
A man with taste!

The American 1921 is definitely one of my favorite VC models... Welcome to the Lounge! CHeers, Francois

round Malte with the newly launched Calibre 1400; this was 2003. I could not afford it. 7-8 years later my dream came true as I bought myself the Partimony Traditionelle with newly launched calibre 4400.
