help identify vacheron watch

My family has a Vacheron Constantin gold watch that belonged to my grandfather (1906-2000). I am trying to figure out what model and year the watch may be. Right now my mom has it so I cannot look 'inside' the watch, but know it is 18k gold with gold band/strap, has a white face and roman numerals, has hour and minute keys. I believe it is hand wound. I would appreciate any educated guesses!

case and movement numbers but the watch needs to be opened. A scan would help as well

I will get the watch soon and will open it then. In case this adds enough detail for a guess, here are more details: my grandpa received it as a gift between l955 and l965, both watch and band are yellow gold. The watch is 3 centimeters in diameter. I confirmed that it does not have a minute hand but does have a seconds 'counter' positioned above/over the number six (a circuit within a circuit, if you will). The only roman numerals on the watch are XII, IX, III, and the partial VI. It is hand wound and has only one nob. The box is rectangular, about 15 centimeters long and 5 centimeters wide. It seems to be made of a leather-like material, is dark brown, and it is lined in silk.

Hi Alex! I do not have a scan but have a pic that matches the watch. What type is it?
