Help needed to identify this Vacheron

Dear Hour Lounge users,

My grand monther found an old Vacheron in the belongings of a relative who passed away. She gave it to me.

Being no expert but willing to find out more about the particular model I got, I write this post to you for help. Could you assist me in the process of identifying this watch?

I looked for a visible reference number but without success...

Glad you found your way here smiley.  Please have a look at this thread:  Pay particular attention to the post mid-way along on how to read a V&C watch.  You will understand some minimum info is required beyond a face shot, although I can tell you in all likelihood the dial has been refinished.  Still, without movement and case markings (back and side shots also help), identification and authenticity cannot be determined.  Unless, of course, someone out there has more intimate knowledge of this particular watch...?

Thanks for the quick and insightful answer. I'll try to find someone to open it up and then take pictures of the inside.

In the meantime, while waiting for more information that I still have to ask to VC, I found a pocket watch featuring the exact same dial.
