Help with ref.

Hi

Could I get some help on checking which ref. the following case number 355565 and movement number 515876 belongs to? It looks like a 6161 to me, but I am not certain. The caliber is a 454/5b.

regards

John

Hi John, Ref. 6161 is a Chronometre Royale with qtr. Maltese Cross lugs

If the watch your looking at has a cal. 454/5b then it not a CR.  There are other Ref #s that have this movement and use those lugs - so it will look similar, but it shouldn't be 6161.

Alex can get you information on your watch in question, including its Ref. #.

Hi Alex

In what way?  And does the case and movement numbers give any answers?

Look at the Dial on an earlier discussion

Take a look at an earlier discussion here at The Hour Lounge Look carefully at the face of that one compared to this one.

Hi

Just got a 1955 catalogue from a collector here in Denmark, at it very much seems like it is a ref 6105 where the markers has been mounted pourly after service.

Hi folks,

This watch is real and was purchased from the family of the original owner. The dial has not been changed and is quite rare with its tritium dots.

Here is a (pretty bad) picture before it went to the watchmaker, to show the difference on two different ref. 4838.

Best regards,

Berny
