I love your WG Toledo.

Also curious about the VC boxes in the pictures.

Thanks very much.

I love both pieces for their day and date functions.

The VC box in the first photo was what the Toledo came in.

On a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high)

Hahaha....too kind! Love the emoticons

Thank you - have often wondered what the SS Overseas Dual-time looked like on a strap.

As I own the same piece. You have answered my curiosity. Thank you. Sir the collection is beautiful.

Yes I have swapped between SS bracelet and navy leather strap with deployant, and I actually prefer the leather strap - more sporty and versatile and more comfortable. I wish the SS bracelet had a micro adjuster.

an ecclectic collection vey nice. The Overseas looks really good on bracelet

discover your TOLEDO wristshot.

You found one quite rapidly ;-)). Very nice collection and your overseas on strap is an interesting combination.

Enjoy your trio. Thanks for sharing all these photos.

Cheers,

Liger

Yes it felt like forever upon searching for the Toledo. But it was well worth the chase. The Toledo is my favorite in my collection and garnishes the most wrist time. TESSST

Also love the retrograde, by the way...

I recently visited an AD in Chicago and got to try the white gold version. Beautiful. I think I'm holding out for the newer BI-retrograde though. As everyone here probably already knows and is sick of hearing about!

By the way, different shirt Alex. Just in case you're tracking such things.

LOL yes in fact I do keep an eye :-)

Yes, the newer biretrograde is a beaut!  Although at 42.5mm I felt it was a bit large for my small wrist.  I do love the 37mm version also for its "vintage style" look withe the Roman numerals.  But yet contrasted with the modern lugs.  Hope to see your new piece soon!

Beautiful and well balanced collection

3 completely different VCs, all beautiful - but my favourite is your retrograde...

You wrote "my first 3 pieces" - what is next on your wish list?

Cheers,

Francois

Thank you!  Aw yes, I could get several VC's all day long!  My 3 favorite brands are VC, JLC and vintage Heuer.  I have a few JLC's - Duometre, Reverso, AMVOX.  My next piece I am actively searching for is a Monaco Heuer 1133b - hard to find an all original in good condition.

Here are some of my other pieces...

cars yes

OK, since you brought it up, I noticed the cars too...

I found mysef needing to know which Jag and which Aston Martin those were,  In my mind, I see an XKR and a DB9, but that would be an impractical combination, so maybe an XJR and a DB9!

My first passion is cars (which eventually led me to watches). I am a car addict and also race in LotusCupUSA...love British cars. My wife has a Flying Spur and we've had a few Range Rovers in the past. I've had a DBS before but my current Aston is a V12 Vantage S. (The Jag was a loaner F type when I was servicing the AM).

It is hard to constrain a love of mechanicl marvels to a single form of its expression. I see, as a true racer, you would not opt for the Volante. Excellent choice!  The car is magnificent (as is the watch, of course).  Drive it in good health and enjoy it.

Congratulations, that is already a great, complete, collection!
