? for the HL Toledo owners

Hi,

I am thinking of picking up a Toledo and was wondering about syncing the date function on months that have less than 31 days.

Could someone describe the process necessary to resync the date, month, day, and moon phase on these months with less than 31 days.

Thanks,

KCC

Hi KCC, Did you just want a description or would you like a copy of the instructions? I can send you a photocopy by regular mail if you like or I can scan it and send it to you as attachment jpeg images of each page (4-5 pages, I think). Joseph

Hi JB, No need to go through all that trouble.  I was just wondering if the adjustment was a simple one like just advancing the date and the month wheel would automatically follow and would not effect the day of week and the moon setting or do you have to adjust all four on these less than 31 day months. Hi KCC, The button at the 4 o'clock position adjusts the date pointer only, so it can be moved easily without affecting the the day of the week but does advance the month. There is a separate button to change the month. If you use the crown to advance the date pointer by turning it past 2400hrs it advances the date pointer, day window as well and the month on the 31st. So on the 1st of Oct. for example, the watch will still be on Sept.31. Just advance the pointer (button 4) 1 click and the date will change to 1st and the month to Oct. The Day window will remain unchanged. It sounds confusing but its not. My problem is that I have several calendar watches and the buttons are all different. i usually need to get the manuals out. But you can play around with it ad nauseum and make as many mistakes as you like since its not a perpetual. Joseph
Thank you much JB

This is what I was looking for.  I just wanted to know how much of a pain it was to resync before I took the plunge. Thanks again, KCC
