The Hour Club SIHH 2013 events Part 1: The Molecular Cuisine

The Hour Club members gathered for a series of events on the eve of the opening of SIHH.

On Sunday Jan 20 we met at the Maison Vacheron Constantin for dinner, the next day was reservef for a series of ateliers where the members could visit the manufactory, the vintage restoration department, learn engraving or finishing techniques (unfortunately I don't have photos but if anyone has please post).

JB already posted some pictures so I'll concentrate on the dinner. This year we had the pleasure of welcoming Denis Martin, a two Michelin star chef with a restaurant in Vevey where he experiments with molecular cuisine. 

The food was surprising, textures were unusual and tastes were heavenly

That meal looks INCREDIBLE!  One of the things I have come to admire most about VC is their consistent and imaginative integration of the arts and cuisine into our appreciation of their watches. It always makes for a good time and great memories.  As always -- love the group shot  at the end. Do you have any wrist shots for the group?  I suspect there were a few nice watches in attendance. wink Best, Robert

Thanks Alex, for providing a kaleidoscope of the various courses. This was clearly 'fine dining' by the Michelin Chef.yes The festive board throughout provided a wonderful platform to the start of SIHH. I'm sure you all had a great week! Best wishes Tony
