Really elegant combination

I love that grey dial. Looking closer to the dial, it seems to me better to have suppressed the 2 bottom lines (automatic and antimagnetic) on this specific version. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for sharing Alex. Liger
Beautiful model

I love that combination!  I am not a colored metal guy, but somehow when VC crafts a watch in RG, I am persuaded. Best, respo
of course you are, Robert! that 1921 looks really great on your wrist

Long time lurker and long admirer of the site and VC:) J
This is a tasty looking model! I am wondering
05/03/2011 - 03:13
if we may see the back of the watch and know the list price? Is there a gold bracelet option too? Really striking. Best to all, Tim
price is $26700

Very nice! Like to see the....

case back view. The slate grey dial appears very dark (black) in photos. In person it must be a beauty!

Really like V&C as a watch. Own 3 myself. Any pictures of back of case? Hour markers could be more breathtaking. 9 out of 10 Joe
Tasty indeed!

As you know, I'm a fan of both gold OS models and the slate grey dial versions, so for me this is a winner! Well done to VC -- thanks for the update, Alex. Best, Gary

This one must come with a bracelet, this would
05/03/2011 - 20:45
be a great elephant riding watch if it had one of the famous half maltese link bracelets?! Price on the SS/Ti too please. Many thanks, Tim
price for the steel/titanium time only is $10611

Are you converting from Euros or Swiss Francs?
05/04/2011 - 18:14
USD pricing on the 47040 in stainless steel and titanium is $10,900. Regardless of price its a beautiful watch and it looks great on the stainless steel bracelet (anbd the silver and black dial models look great on straps...) :-) Bill
Its the US price excluding sales taxes.

NO COMMENT! One beautiful watch. P.S. Maybe this watch is very beautiful with white gold or platinum case (I think...).

Veramente di classe l'accostamento cromatico , del resto non poteva essere altrimenti - A quando una versione in acciaio ??

It's good to see the look from the rose gold Overseas Chronograph

brought into the automatic model. I like this quite a lot.  Bill
it'sa real nice color combo! I still would prefer the stealthier SS/Ti

version, and it would not be for its considerably lower price Although the price for the RG model seems a bit steep... I am sure this model will find many faithful followers around the globe and as usual hits the mark with it. Out of all the Overseas new range and offering this obviously is my favorite now:

I've had a chance to strap on the SS/Ti Overseas with the slate grey dial and JLC movement.  For a good 24 hours I was torn between this and another watch!  ultimately, I decided upon the other watch, but the Overseas left a very deep impression upon me.....
what was the other watch?

I have never been a fan of Overseas model
05/04/2011 - 20:03
but this one is an elegant design. Classy yet sporty due to the design of Overseas. Maybe the dial would look much better if it were a dark brown/black guilloche dial with roman numerals
There's certainly a niche in the marketplace for this new version...

Alex, The rose gold and slate grey sunburst dial look very compatible. If there's a opportunity to expose the steel/titanium models that would be appreciated. It's a 'well done' effort from the guys back at base! Tony
