How many VCs does everyone have here?

It's not meant to show off but it shows how far VC virus has taken you How many VCs does everyone have here? I am quite new to getting VC, my first one was in 2005. I only have 2: Malte chrono rose gold & patrimony boutique piece. Hope to have more as I progress.

I just discovered the wonderful world of VC and have only one which I

bought in 2007 the platinum Malte Chrono, but I'm definately not stopping at one...

But hanging out on the Lounge is dangerous, the passion for the brand here is addictive

Very nice piece! (nt)

The coolest PT Chrono on the market right now! Congrats! nt

It started with an extra plates with a cal 1003, then a 1972 for

men, followed by a Patrimony Contemporaine and the latest:

But that's 3 as of today as I sold the extra plates

3 for me. Two vintage time only and a Toledo 1952. This is the

watch that started it all

I wanted to thank the Loungers for sharing their passion and knowledge. This is a great community

Do you want to laugh?

I don't have any watch LoooooL, no VC, nor any of other brand will come...soon (I hope LooL).

Are you a member of that new generation that uses their cell phone as a watch, camera, internet, and finally a telephone?

Its amazing where technology is taking us as I remember the Dick Tracy wrist communicator from the comics.  We might have one of those in five years or less!

You will get one soon Fred.

Maybe the fruit of your creation? The Lounger's watch!

Three, but all vintage. I'm looking to get another vintage piece next month, fingers crossed! I'll definately post pics on the happy day!

I also have a couple "projects" that won't count. They will be original movement/dial, but have a custom case.

Very diverse collections.

Some are into antiques, some are into new pieces. I agree the passion for VC in this forum is second to none

the past wont count. i will have more for sure :) nt.

My first post and my first VC!

As some of you can tell by the picture and previous posts, I picked this up at the last Antiquorum auction.   I absolutely love it.  I hope that for decades to come that I get the same feeling I get now looking at it ALL DAY.

congrats on your first VC Jeff

so you're the lucky one who got this watch!! Love those lugs and

welcome to the Lounge

Very good choice!!!

I was looking at that one too. Although I can safely say I didn't compete for it, so I'm not the oen who pushed the price up for you. It is good to see that you have very good taste indeed!!

It says the watch comes with the original box, you wouldn't have a picture of it, would you? Please? :-)

I have an Overseas (old model) and a reference 2045 (ultra-flat automatic with 1120 movement from the late '60s or early '70s). I used to have another ultra-flat automatic, but something was wrong with it and eventually the people who sold it to me took it back.

I'm very probably stopping there; after the difficulties I had getting an extra link for my Overseas' bracelet I'm quite leery of buying another modern Vacheron and I have some vintage Audemars that are sufficiently similar to the corresponding vintage Vacherons that it would be hard to justify getting any of those corresponding Vacherons. (I hope you won't kick me off the forum, though; I very much enjoy the Vacherons I have and also seeing the pictures you all have taken of yours.)

Hope I'm not too late...

I've been lucky enough to get three so far...

It started out with an Overseas three years ago, followed by the Jubilee in 2005 (of course), then a Toledo last year.  I would like to be able to round out the collection with a simple piece, but all funds are now being diverted to things for my little daughter.  No complaints there, but I am still hoping to be able to catch a boutique Contemporaine somehow...

Merry Christmas everyone!!

No VC yet...
12/24/2007 - 18:06

...but my favourite (47212) is on order, and I should have it on my wrist next Feb...

It's been 6 years now that I have been dreaming of buying myself a VC (so Fred, keep on dreaming, your dream will definitely come true sooner than you think)

One VC...I have always...
12/24/2007 - 22:03

admired nice watches.  Since my father gave me his Rolex Date only about 10 years ago.  But only recently have I taken an interest in haute horlogerie. Noticing I had been admiring many watches for a while, my wife said one day, "you should get yourself a nice watch." To that i said Amen, and now i have one VC, a Chronometre Royal 1907.

Hi! I have two VC's
12/25/2007 - 17:52

An Overseas Chronometer SS bought in 1999 and a Malte Dual Time Regulateur in Pink Gold bought in May 2007.

Hope I can get a Jubilee and a Toledo 1952 in WG in the coming years.

One = YG Malte Grande Classique.....

But I know I will add more!
