How much can i sell my Vacheron Constantin 733221 42005 ?

It's a gift from a friend but i've put it only once. I want to sell it in ebay.com but i don't know what price to put. Please tell me what is the real price of this VC, and if there is someone intersted, please write me at chocho_r@abv.bg Some pictures of the watch: http://www.picvalley.net/v.php?p=u/1235/1310032603.JPG http://www.picvalley.net/v.php?p=u/1436/749131141.JPG http://www.picvalley.net/v.php?p=u/1195/1643499755.JPG

given it to you. But I'm sure you already knew. Its a fake and a bad one, selling fakes is a criminal offense in most countries, furthermore as you have seen this is not a sales platform.
Alex, I think you are too generous as I would not...

even go to 5 Bulgarian Lev for it... Oh to have friends like this...  Well, I am still holding out hope for a long lost uncle...  Cheers, Duncan
Duncan; I'm confused........

with or without a genuine VC to give you?? Regards, Tom
Uncle Tom!!!! I have been waiting for you for so long!!!!

I would graciously accept anything you wish to give but to fit in with the "crowd" then perhaps a poorly made, cheap looking counterfeit would be most appropriate. So, Nephew Duncan awaits the fakes while Uncle Duncan gives away...  Cheers, Duncan
As they say, "With friends like that, who needs enemies?" (nt)

Its a fake simply because Vacheron never made a watch that looked like that! There are many other reasons too, more specific ones too. JB
oh come on! Do you seriously think someone will give you the

price you should sell a fake watch?  As to the things that give it off as being fake? Well just about every thing: look at the movement then have a look at the 4400 movement in the American 21 article, that's what a VC movement should look like. Then you should do some search re ref 42500 which seems to be what is written on your watch, once you see the real thing then you can compare. Finally if you are not convinced you should read this: Shady Joe's Guide to Spotting a Fake VC
What do ya' think?

Maybe Luca should sell him a watch! BTW: A most appropriate 200th Post!
Most die hard collectors here (I am excluded)

have seen possibly what they need to see r/e Vacheron timepieces and they have handled them regularly as well. From this long time experience, it's becoming like a reflex that has a precise accuracy, that's why asking r/e the watch here is the most appropriate step as you got all the experts to help. Trust me, they KNOW their VC!  I have seen the pic, and though I am not an expert on all VC watches, I can tell it's not real.
You'll only get what some unfortunate sucker is willing to pay... (nt)

I've never said that the watch isn't fake. I only asked because i supposed that the people in this forum may give me an answer. If it's not original, how much can i get for a replica? I tought that this one is original becouse this friend of my father is very rich and now i cant't beleive that he was wearing a fake watch. I will show it to some shops for watches in Sofia to hear their оpinions too.
I will try to be polite...

We have all had some fun with this thread but you should understand that counterfeit watches are a significant problem for the industry and real collectors typically have a very bad opinion of them.  Asking this forum for the "value" of an obvious fake is totally inappropriate.  Would you walk into Cartier and ask them for an appraisal of a cubic zirconia ring with Cartier scratched into it?  Would you walk into a Farrari showroom and ask them for the value of a cheap Chevrolet with a fake Farrari badge stuck on the hood?  What you are doing here is essentially the same thing. We are a pleasant group of watch afficionados under the wonderful stewardship of Alex, our excellent and patient moderator.  We try to be respectful to everyone but we also expect people to be respectful to us and the brand, which owns this forum. Please take your watch and good luck trying to find someone willing to buy it from you.  You will not find that person here and you will not get any of us to be an accessory to your considered criminal act since selling a counterfeit watch is an illegal act in most jurisdictions. Duncan
Your words tell a different story!

Your first post:It's a gift from a friend but i've put it only once. I want to sell it in ebay.com but i don't know what price to put. Please tell me what is the real price of this VC, and if there is someone intersted, please write me at chocho_r@abv.bg Some pictures of the watch. So you called it a VC and were shilling for buyers on a VC forum. Your second post:I'm not sure that it it original, but how did u understand that it's fake one only from few pictures? I want to know if it's real and how much can i want for it in ebay, beacouse in Bulgaria is difficult to sell such watch. Please tell me what price to put, not to be very high or very low? thnxNow you want to know what price to scam fleabay buyers if no one here will bite. Your third post:I've never said that the watch isn't fake. Finally you deny representing the watch as real, with the usual story on how innocent you are. I like Duncan's steamroller idea, or the "chipper" method used in Beijing (ever seen the movie Fargo?).
I also enjoy the scenes of the steamroller crushing...

piles of fake watches, DVDs and other counterfeit stuff.  Maybe they should throw the maker into the pile as well.  Then, he can really wear his fakes or maybe it will be more of a case where the fakes are actually wearing him...   Cheers, Duncan
You should send your watch to Antiquorum for appraisal

By the way, I have seen many rich men/women wearing fake staff.  They keep the real one in the safe.  If you want the real one, you have to pay for it and get it from the reliable source.  Regards Ling
Ok, I've understand..

I've understand that i did't have to write in this forum becouse my watch is fake. I want to thank you for telling me that the watch isn't original, beacouse i don't want to have problems in ebay. You are real fans of that brands, and it's normal to get angry if someone ask for his fake staff. Goodbye
