How would a contemporary buckle look like for this 1954 V-C?

Dear All:

I own this fantastic vintage Vacheron Constantin Ref. 6268 in red gold. Currently, it is fitted with a modern red gold V-C buckle. It looks fine, but I notice a tiny difference in the colour between the two (the buckle being very slightly more reddish), and also I believe a contemporary buckle will look even better:

I am aware that the vintage V-C buckles often looked rather generic. Any help, at best with pics, would be much appreciated!

Regarding the vintage buckles, here's a scan Doc posted some time ago of what they looked like:

Buckles like the one below were used in the late 60s-70s

Considering how difficult these buckles are to come by I systematically put a modern half Maltese cross buckle on my vintage watches.
