I couldn't resist

I've been wanting another watch I can wear on a daily basis for some time.  I had seen thie new QDIs in Aspen in March, but didn't really have the opportunity to look as closely as I did last night at the Timecrafters event.  I had a hard time deciding between the White and Black dials, especially since my Overseas has a grey dial, but in the end the dramatic contrast between the polished steel and the black dial won out.  It looks especially cool in the dark when the super luminova is glowing - I will try to post a phot of that this weekend when I have my better camera set up.

I couldn't resist

Congratulations, Mike

It is a terrific watch for daily wear, and it looks great on your wrist.  I think this is going to be a successful watch for VC.

Best,

Robert

Thanks Robert

It was great to see you in March.  Hope all is well.

Love it Mike

Maybe one day we will see each other at the Park Ave office and I can see it in person!

I'll bring it to Vegas in June

See you there?

Very nice Michael!

Lovely contrast and very legible.

Wear it in the best of health.

I just tried the black dial version on my wrist last week and really liked it, so I know how you feel!

Looks great on your wrist!

Congrats. I just saw this piece at a private VC preview last Wednesday

to see the new OS collection. While I love the new OS collection, I really liked this new QDL. They had the black dial one.

It is a superb watch and very well priced.

I believe this will be a winner for VC, along with the new OS. In an industry which is 95% marketing most of the time, (and quite often utter nonsense watches) VC has continued its ability to create timepieces which are excellent and relatively within reach.

What a cool watch congrats! I remember when

The QDI originally came out the Loungers gave it a rather lukewarm welcome but the new steel version seems to have won the Loungers' hearts

Alex, I think the original QDI was way ahead of its time, and suffered from

poor timing (2008). I think this new version makes more sense.

I wonder what VC will do with its QDL Annual Calendar? Maybe that movement could be used in a Patrimony or Traditionelle case...perhaps?

Great addition to your collection Michael

Looks very nice on your wrist.

Not yet seen, and I will be interested in seing the luminova lume effect.

I will follow your photos.

Enjoy it and have a great Week-End.

Warm regards,

Liger

I tried it (and several other lovelies, thank you Claus) on yesterday and it is a really amazing timepiece. Looking forward to the lumeshot. :)

Best regards

Martin

Black face with white gold hour markers work for me

I wasn't sure whether the black face would work but now I prefer it.

Congratulations on a beautiful watch. (Sorry I missed you at TimeCrafters show.)

Here are a couple of photos I took in a dark room this morning.  Both watches had roughly the same exposure to UV light from a flashlight.  The blue luminova is the QDI, and green is my dual time Deepstream OS.

It is very nice to have 2 different colors for the lume in your collection.

The blue one is a nice addition and gives additional charm to the QdL.

Huge congratulations.
