I have inherited a watch from my father.

hello,

I'm new here and have no knowledge of this watch, so I ask you for help.

I think he got it as a gift in the 1970s. He was a member of the Freemasons, it is the only source I can think of.
The watch is in mint condition, only used a few times.

I have inherited a watch from my father.
The value and its history is what I would like to know.
Grateful for any help.

It looks like a ref 39013 or a ref 6352 but to be certain you

will need to have the back opened by a watchmaker and give us the numbers inscribed on the case back as well as movement

Okey, thanks, I will do that next time I go to Stockholm, since we live in a small city without any quality watchmakers here. // Tomas
Looks interesting. Lucky you. Please post more pics.

Thank you all, I too think it is gorgeous. Please share any information you have about it´s history, I have google it all day but its very hard to find info on this partickular model, not very common in this combinaton.  Is it rare/ valuable ? I have not seen the watch in 25 years, so I almost missed it when we were cleaning out his bathroom cabinet ;-) it was placed in the bottom drawer along with electric toothbruches and other things ... Here are some more pictures of the watch in its case. have a nice day // Tomas

Beautiful Tomas. The original case is a real bonus. The thinness suggests a Cal. 1001 or 1003 movement. Cogratulations. Wear it in excellent health! Joseph

Earlier in this thread there were some guessing if it is a Ref 39013 or a Ref 6352, and now you say it might be a Cal. 1001 or a 1003 movement. Could someone please inform me what that is? Ref is the model? Cal is the mechanics inside? What is the differens between the Ref 39013 and Ref 6352? and whats the difference between a 1001 and 1003 movement. Is there anyone of these that are extra desirable? // Tomas
the reference number is the type of watch it is (the case design) and

calibre numbers are the type of movement in it
Thanks for the pics. Handsome piece. Charming box. Enjoy
