Did a stop-over in New York, and stayed at the London hotel – really nice place, I do recommend it
The Lounge in our Suite (it's cool that even their cheapest rooms are suites, you get more space for your money)… I like what they’ve done to it:
We hate like kings in the Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Maybe a bit too much....
Before going to bed, I had to take another shot of my 'bad boy' VC
We had a little stroll in Central Park in the morning, before flying off to Cancun:
London is much greener than NYC, but none of its parks compare to Central Park...
Cancun (or should I say the Hotel, since I didn’t leave the complex the whole time I was there) was very nice. And we were quite lucky weather-wise, only sunshine the whole time!
A few pics of the place…
The main hall:
View from the main hall unto the complex:
The infinity pool, with the water bar…
The place was really nice, but to be honest the food was nothing spectacular (I guess that’s to be expected in a “all-inclusive”…)
Then we had on Saturday the wedding – on the beach…
Wedding set-up (verryyyy nice...) (it was a very small reception, with 20 guests... and 50 onlookers)
And now... The shot you’ve all been dying for (maybe The shot that I’ve been dying to take would be more appropriate)
C'mon, Alex, you've got to admit that the strap goes well with my suit - it's a perfect match!
And another one…
I told you guys the strap would look much better in its environment!
Tommy, I wasn’t wearing any shoes, as the wedding was on the beach… and as requested, a shot of the whole outfit (unsigned shot, but PM me your address, and your wish will come true). While I do look a bit like a Miami Vice Clown, Mrs Veillotron always looks good
As you can see, Dean, and Joseph, I didn’t do a ‘full Sonny’, but almost… I just needed to ditch the formal shirt… and I did have my .45, but the people at the airport customs didn’t think it was appropriate object to bring onboard the plane. Good thing I put my sawn-off shotgun in my checked bag!
Martin, Dan and Kazumi, Ray, Rei and Miki, thanks for your kind comments.
Aaron, my watch does have the quick change straps Dan talked about, but I still went to a local AD and got them to do the change – it is a much safer option - I would seriously hurt myself if I ended up scratching my watch while putting on a white strap!!!
The return trip was brutal, taking over 20 hours door to door… And spending so much time aboard a plane, it was inevitable for me to catch a cold… But it was all worth it, as when I landed I had this smiling little face to cheer me up!!!
Tomorrow, the grey strap goes back on - bye bye white strap, until the next tropical holiday...
I think I might have broken the record for smileys in a post
