Inspired by Dan's risk taking on the coin watch

After looking through litterally thounsands of photos of late 50's VC's and going through catalogues. Worring about the missing Swiss at 6, the lenght of the hands. Getting inpunt from Tick-Talk and Liger. Discussing the watch with KBS and the seller which both are fellow danes. Not being able to find any dial like this in any of the major auction databases. Finding one watch for sale in Italy with the excact same layout and with case and movement numbers only a few hundred apart, but with a Swiss marking on the dial. Getting confirmation from Alex that this is a 6413 with matching numbers from 1959 and not as beleived by the seller from 1953. Checking out the vintage dealer in Germany who sold the watch to Mika which I bought in from. I finally said to my self at the edge of information overload - I really like this watch, what the heck I go for it.

John

Very nice wristshot John.

The V&C logo of vintage models is great to look at.

Enjoy it. What a 2016 starts.

Congratulations,

Liger

I suggest a darker brown strap to keep your eyes on the watch itself, IMHO.

I did not see them on your photo.

Then, it should be perfect. Same color for your belt too?

Cheers,

Liger

You're assured of very many happy times with this beauty heart.

We haven't heard from Kent (KBS) for sometime; kindly extend our good wishes to him when you next speak.
