Introducing the new Overseas Chronograph for Milan retailer Pisa

A new Overseas Chronograph in steel (on rubber strap and croc strap) made in only 20 pieces for the famous Milanese retailer Pisa. The dial is mat black with indexes filled with yellowish luminous material. Out of the recent limited Overseas chronographs launches recently (Greek and Turkish markets) this is my favorite and I like it so much that I'm even considering selling my beloved Overseas US edition to fund this one!!!

"zero time" on the dial?
You have "zero time" to loose to get one!! Yeah I know it
08/09/2010 - 17:20
doesn't really makse sense but the reatiler wanted it there....

Ther's some reason - any reason the Godfather doen't have a VC made exclusively for an Italian AD? Luca
Overseas Versatility
08/09/2010 - 18:17
Once again the OS shows itself to be the most versatile VC model.  The yellow highlights are fantastic and, dare I say, give a "vintage" feel that really warms my heart .
mamma mia! Italian class, love it NT

u have to give it to the italians for aesthetics....

subtle tone and shade of a colour can make a world of difference to design, and in this instance, the yellowish luminous. however, i wonder how this watch will look if the rest of the numbers and markers on the dial is of the same yellow? anyhow, this is really handsome.
Very nice!

I like the look of aged tritium while the reality is superluminova! Bill
That is absolutely gorgeous!

Thank you, Alex.  I hope you have one next time I see you.

Great Looking Watch--

I agree with Tourbillon's comment about the non-sensical "zero time" on the dial. What was the retailer after with this I wonder.
What is the price of the watch?
08/10/2010 - 10:49
How much does it costs? Kindly let me know.
its around euro 14000 (nt)

Pisa is definetely worth the visit. We were there a couple of weeks ago, the staff is friendly and knowledgable and...there is a dedicated space for Vacheron & Constantin. They had a nice range but not the 1921. Now we have to go back to check the Overseas Chronograph for Pisa ;-)
Pretty Incredible Sanely Awesome

Actually, when I saw the third photo, I only said ooooohh and the fourth one: wow But the US edition is also very nice, tough choice!
Prefer the pushers and hour markers
08/10/2010 - 17:13
on this edition to the ones on the US edition. Also love the uncluttered dial, though the skeleton hands on the US edition are cool. All round, a stunning watch. That said, it's a lot to ask for a SS watch.
the pushers are the same on the two (US and Pisa)

Messrs Pisa have struck gold with this beauty. This O/C version attracts the eye like a magnet! It's seriously good stuff and all praise to those involved in the project. Are you still thinking of changing your Alex? Bet you are! Tony
Is there a PISA version NOT to like?
08/10/2010 - 22:59
I guess the answer is no. This one is no exception, and I love the little customised details. Well done! Best, Magnus

Very nice! Looks nearly like my old Omega Speedmaster!

And when it comes to chronographs, that is an honour I think. I still think that the old Speedy Moon is elegant and classic and I'm glad seeing my son wearin it, but not on hiswedding on Saturday   I'm actually sitting here writing a speech...to be performed for 100 persons... Cheers Doc
Same taste Doc...same taste.

Re: Very nice! Looks nearly like my old Omega Speedmaster!
08/17/2010 - 02:15
Agree with Doc on this one, there are definately references to Omega's Speedi here, yet it has its own strong VC identity - this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing chronos VC have produced for a long time !
I'm glad,
08/17/2010 - 22:50
that Rei, Dr Strangelove and 1907 understood that it's an honour to be compared with the old Speedy! I perhaps should have written, as my friends that it's one of the nicest chronographs VC have done in years I could think it could be a genuine in-step model for VC aficionados to be ' Cheers Doc
Beautiful, I prefer this one over the Greek ltd edition. nt
