Introducing the Traditionnelle manual wind with scrumptious chocolate dial...

...made in 16 pieces for Roman retailer Haussmann &co

In celebration of a 160 year partnership (starting in 1854!) Vacheron Constantin has made a 16 piece (one for each decade) Tradirionelle manual wind in rose gold and chocolate dial. The dial whci bears Hausmann's initials H & CO between 7 and 8 o’clock and the dates 1854-2014 on the small seconds counter.

The Traditionnelle manual wind houses Cal 4400.

A wonderful gesture to celebrate a lasting and fuitful relationship.

Sixteen grand pieces to toast the occasionyes... It would be nice to see a couple of 'flesh' photographs too.

Gorgeous. And it looks tasty and delicious. And I am going to

be very jealous of the 16 lucky owners.

Alex, i am going to commission a one off in the near future to help control my anger towards these lucky owners who get get to buy these boutique specials, whether in Italy or Tokyo or elsewhere.

The Traditionelle is one of the nicest dress watches around, and I am overjoyed to own one.

The watch really is delicious, especially since today is Halloween...

I'll take this treat any day of the year!

But I think my poor math skills are showing...wouldn't 220 years of partnership be 22 decades (not 16?)

oops! my bad the 220 years is the age of Hausmann &Co :-)

.

That is a delicious looking dial

I bet the chocolate dial is really gorgeous in person.

The scan of the backside of the watch is a nice reminder to me of how lovely the cal. 4400 is.  I should turn over my 1921 and take a look, something I have not done recently enough.

Best,

Robert

That combination is very beautiful, Alex...Rose gold and chocolate.

Vacheron should package it with a real dark chocate version of the watch that one could eat...or wear if one were so inclined cheeky

Joseph

I love that combination in a dress watch

Very elegant and understated, and a perfect match with a beauiful blue suit or jacket.

Elegant combination

Chocolate dial in a rose gold envelop = perfect gift for these 16 lucky owners.

Funny: Italians had named TOLEDO = "Cioccolatone", and now this chocolate dial is for them wink

Well done VACHERON CONSTANTIN.
