TESSST

So this is the watch in my teaser; congrats on those who guessed correctlyyes

The Traditionnelle World Time (which indicates 37 time zones including those offset by 30 mins and 45 mins) is offered in a 100 piece limited edition in the Collection Excellence Platine with the habitual platinum case, dial and strap thread.

What is amazing here is the drop dead gorgeous platinum dial with raised world map. For the moment here are the press photos and I will post live photos in my Watches and Wonders article in Oct.

The Traditionnelle World Time CEP will be officially presented at the Watches &Wonders salon in Hong Kong (Sept 29-Oct 2, 2014)

A very distinctive, stunning watch with a very "cool" appearance.

Very nice transition from the RG version.

It does have a definite "WOW" factor.

Congrats to the VC team for another great creation!

Joseph

PS If I could afford it, I would wear my RG WT in the summer and this one in the winter. :-)

It looks TERRIFIC. I like this even more than the RG version!

But, CEP, out of my budget...unless, hey anybody want a nice collection of "slightly used" vintage watches?  cheeky

Can I take your Thunderbird?

Um.....
07/09/2014 - 23:02

I kinda want that one too..... :-)

Bill

Thanks Joe and Bill, I will keep your thoughts in mind in case something happens, :-)

Hi Joe, I thought you were a member of the white metal clan?  Have you ever seen the post by ltang67 about the unique WG T-bird?  Now that is some really special!  http://www.thehourlounge.com/en/vacheron-constantin-discussions/would-share-my-new-additions-humbly-584974

Hi Bill,  I know you are a big T-bird fan, even more than Batman?

BR, Dan

Thanks Dan for the link

I did not know of that WG version, but I have to say, I love yours more.  Yours is just impeccable.

Best

Joe

Thunderbird or Cioccolatone would be my only....

choices for a vintage automatic Vacheron Constantin at this time. It would take something very special to displace my XXL at this point.

Nice. It does look like a very special watch. I had the opportunity to try on the WT in Dubai a few days ago. Love it.

Dear Alex, would you be so kind as to give us the dimensions,
07/09/2014 - 20:33

Water resistance and close up of the relief work, which I am guessing from the press photo is spectacular.

It would also be nice to know the price. I hope at least two are slated for North America!

Congratulations to the team and CS for such an effort!

Best to all,

Tim

Tim no close ups of the dial for the moment, case is 42.5m and

Oh, so you can wash your hands with watch on!!!blush

For me the, watch is "strange". The second time zone is exaggerated, it lose the sense. Looks like you are more interesting what time is somewhere else! But just my impression. Many nicer watches.

Stunning watch!

As all CEP watches are. Out of my budget but I am still hoping to see a WG version of this world timer (with rotating night-day disc).

Looking forward to see some live photos.

Best,

Stan

Fantastic watch
07/10/2014 - 10:35

can't wait to see it in real life. Hopefully, the bezel will be a bit less scratch-sensitive than the WG patrimony traditionelle case?!

Do you have a pic showing the back side?

no more photos :-) you'll have to wait til

Watches and Wonders devil

Beautiful version. Love the colour combination, very elegant.
07/10/2014 - 13:20
I love the WT in rose gold...
07/10/2014 - 15:07

...I perhaps love it even more in platinum.  It has a very cool, wintry feel to it due to the color scheme.  The PT950 is very discrete on the dial.

Arrrrgggghhhhhh!

I want!

Best,

Robert

This ticks all the boxes for me...

Love the platinum dial with the raised world map.

The general aesthetics are out to win alot of hearts  heart...

I'm confident that it's initial presentation, later in the year, will create a great deal of interest.

Congrats to the design team who continue to beaver away quietly - well done!
