Introduction

Hello all,

as a new VC owner I wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I was recently presented with three versions of the Patrimony Traditionnelle Small Seconds (boutique with guilloche dial, standard and one with a lightly creamier dial?). Anyway, the small seconds seemed slightly more subdued on two of them so I went for the original. I love the way the sub-dial pops ( as I believe the youngsters say ;)  ).

anyway, it's a fantastic looking, light and generally all round great dress watch and I couldn't be happier.

We need larger pictures of your new watch.  The small avatar just doesn't do it. :-)

Best Regards, Dan

P.S. I'm a fan of your suits wink

Congratulations. I have the standard one too and I have posted two pics.

Enjoy this in the best of health.

I bought mine when the Guilloche dial and the Cream Dial were not available, and I still believe the standard one looks the best. If I were to add a second version, I would either buy the WG version or the Platinum Grey dial.

Congratulations. I have the standard one too and I have posted two pics.Congratulations. I have the standard one too and I have posted two pics.Congratulations. I have the standard one too and I have posted two pics.

Thanks both. I'm travelling at the moment so will struggle a little to get some decent pics up just yet. I'll get to it though (no suit pics though, Zegna or otherwise smiley)

Those are some very nice pics KK. I notice that the strap looks a bit more red in one photo. Is that just the light or do you have multiple straps? They also look to be in quite good nick. Do people polish their straps? I suspect they cost more than a pair of shoes (FPJ straps are going for hundreds of dollars I'm told) so want to look after it.

apologies if strap maintenance has been covered time and time again!

welcome to the Lounge, would love to see a wrist shot and coll choice of name :-)

Zegna, no I jave never changed the strap. That photo just has added colour

due to some reason. Everything looks bright.

Yes, straps are super expensive and I have been thinking about this and might generate a new discussion on this soon. Alex, coming your way...

Welcome and congrats

What a great choice of pieces to start a VC collection.  I agree with the others that a wrist shot will be great!  This is a real classic beauty.  Here are two recent shots of mine for inspiration!  One is a classic wrist shot and another a more artsy shot that highglights my favorite aspect of the watch - the way it "throws light".

Welcome and congrats

Beautiful pics! Nice looking chronometer!

I've been told my OS isn't really a VC but I don't care - I still like it. ;-)

Also, I'd LOVE a Quai de l'Ile! Doesn't that mean Island Wharf? Strange name for a watch...

What's in a name? Quai de l'Ile

Hi Dave, Quai de l'Ile is the name of a place in Geneva and has some relevance for VC wink:
