Isn't this watch a killer?

I aksed one of my photoshop-skilled friends to come up with a simulation of QdI Chrono...
Just wanted to envision what it would look like. Below you'll find his his final work.

Isn't this watch a killer?

I love the rectangular push buttons and dial lay-out which is not as busy as the current Day/Date with Power Reserve model.
I hope this QdI simulation model inspires VC management and designers to make this chrono happen...

What do you think my firends?
great job Radek, I like the look alot. A couple of

other ideas, because of my old eyes I prefer the darker dial for contrast. That is why I am holding off from buying one right away. I would like the date only with the darker dial for ledgibility. Also think the Qdi case has the perfect shape for a Co-axial through the crown single button chrono. What would you think of that? John

A monopusher...great idea.  Also Radek, can you friend 'shop in a pair of solid disks behind the chrono sub-dials?  A 2-reg chrono would be a great tribute to classic VC design.
a QDI chrono! Gorgeous, love those pushers, its such a

Hi Radek, Terrific job! I would agree with John about the darker background for contrast. I have the same age-related problem and I also agree with Dean about the solid coloured sub dials. Dark grey background with lighter grey subdials and white (or red) numbers. The pushers look really cool but a monopusher would be very nice. VC should give you an honourarium for your work! Best Wishes, Joseph
Very nice Radek (nt)

Yup, it's a killer!

I especially like the two rectangular pushers, it really looks good. I wonder if VC would consider doing it, since they would have to produce special flanks for this model... would sure be a good thing! I think the chrono hand from the Malte Chrono would look quite good on this model... Your friend did quite a good job, thanks Radek for sharing! Francois
That could be very nice....

Of course, and this is a point in favor of how it would look in reality, the underdial of a chronograph movement is flat-it doesn't have the bridges as in the QdI day-date. The legibility of the running seconds and totalizer would be much better than in the Photoshoped example above. Bill
This is a real beauty, definately short list material--but it's not

For my personal preference, I would prefer a darker dial and a bit more definition to the chrono registers.  My eyes struggle much more these days and legibility is key to me.  As others have said, the rectangular pushers are terrrific. Thanks for sharing this with us. Cheers, Duncan
