Hello. I`ve got Vacheron Constantin Royal Eagle ref.#755270. How can I know that it`s authentic? Thanks.

Ok, I`ll try.. The problem is that me and the watches are not in the same city at the moment. And I see the second problem - how can I insert pics here? Thank you very much for the answer.

Hi, I`ve got the images now and need your help.

Here they are:

Is it fake?

Thank you.

looks pretty genuine to me. Why would you think its fake? BTW

the ref n° is 42008, the number on the back is the case number

Thanks for the answer. Why do I think so? Because it`s a present, so I can`t be shure. Can you give me an advise - how can I authentify it for shure by ref# or something like that? I`ve heared that there is something like online database...
that is a nice present! can you get a scan of inside the caseback and

I don`t know, if I can actually do it but I`ll try... Can I also ask you a question about the price... As I know it`s something like 30k?
The price of the current model is abouyt $20k, the watch in your scan

is the previous version (with printed numerals whereas the current model has applied numerals)

Just wondering, if it is a present and not costing you why are you so worried about its genuiness?

You have to live in former USSR to understand it:) Actually it`s a present for some advises I gave to my friends, so for me it`s a kind of examination of their loyality... And the second reason: I can`t even imagine the number of chinease fakes that we have here today:)
OK I understand :-) If the photo is of the actual watch then its

either genuine or the counterfeiters are getting REALLY good.

Are you in or near Moscow? Because you can take the watch to the VC boutique there and have them look at it.

I`m in Kiev (Ukraine) we have the VC boutique here, but the watches are now in the other city and I really don`t have any time to come and get it:( As for counterfeiters, they are really good - a year ago my friend has got very awesome VCs. He brought ti to the jeweller who said that it`s ok, and only the watch-master understood that it`s fake. Actually they`d got new types of covers so the jewellers now don`t know how to define the imitation...
I guess the only way would be to have a scan of caseback and movement
