It seems that with the new version of HL, the number of posts

of each member is higher than before. Is there a reason for this?

I noticed that too!

Thanks for mentioning this curious phenomenon enlightened.  A couple of other niggles with the new platform, if I may...

There is no longer the panel along right margin showing the latest posts, so when I recently updated the list of private label retailers within an older "discussion", there was nothing to notify others of this new info.  Can the update feature be returned?  If not, should a new thread be started with a link back to the old?

I find the "Suggested Articles" footer that now occupies the bottom third of the screen when viewing threads, oops, discussions (I'll get it yet) to be distracting.   Is this feature supposed to benefit the mobile users?  Seems a bit "in your face" at the moment, and repetitive of the Articles link just above, so I'm wondering if we could choose to minimize this feature, or perhaps reassign it to show updates as mentioned above?

Thanks Alex for considering this feedback.

Thanks for the comments Dean, will see if we can

put the latest posts function back.

the refs to suggested Articles on the bottom is to remind Loungers who may not have seen them that these articles exist. The problem up til now was that Articles were read the first few months but then pushed into oblivion!

That makes sense. And on the same line...

I always enjoyed the past photos that were featured on the right margin.  They often reminded me of older posts, or something I missed entirely, and by clicking on the photo you were taken back to the original thread.  Would be a shame to lose such a wonderful feature crying

The photo feature still exists but has been moved to home page (nt)

Update to Dan's post on steel dress watches
05/12/2014 - 23:25

The update in support of Alex's statement that one case maker often provided the same designs to multiple brands, with perhaps a surprising example:  I might have missed it, but I couldn't find how to insert my own text to make this link shorter.

I see the update appeared on the Home page, under Dan's original post, and I assume it will be overwritten by other posts in due course.  LOL, I also see the Photo Gallery appears on the home page as well.  Up to now, I've bookmarked the Discussions page directly but that may have to change.

So now I've subscribed to Dan's post, with immediate notifications.  How long does a subscription last and how many can one have on the go at a time?  I can see being subscribed to a great many rather quickly!

I'm sure in a few weeks it will all feel quite natural.

you can subscribe to as many posts as you wish :-) I think it will take some time to
