Have a little hot sauce for me, Nico!

I thought the one labelled "Asses in space" was pretty cool.

And make sure you check those Scoville Units.

We don't want you to turn into a fire-breathing dragon!!

Have a great time (Amuse-toi bien, mon ami!)

Nico, even if it's just beads that people are throwing at you...

...that would be a little bit worrying

Have fun!

It's for the spirit and fun, not the beads :-)

We had visitors over with their small children, and the whole Mardi Gras parades take on a new meaning. Children simply love it! And then you add some nice times with friends and BBQs, and you have an enjoyable time.

It is actually very hard to ignore the whole thing if it happens on your street right outside your house...

If you don't take it seriously, as it is meant to be, it is fun. On the contrary, if you turn into a bead fanatic, then the whole point is missed in my opinion; and I am not even going to mention the Bourbon Street crowds (although it is entertaining to see from the balconies, at least once, to fully appreciate the complexities of human nature ).
