MGM, you deserve more than a t-shirt, maybe even a whole jacket .  This semi-transparent dial treatment is IMHO a much better integration of the subdials and really intrigues one to peek beyond the surface into the depths of the movement.  Congrats on what I hope will be the first HL-inspired modification as surely the factory will be equally impressed and put this into production.  Actually, I'm sure they must have modelled a similar set-up...just wonder why they passed on it?

I think that the problem with semi-open dial is that it's difficult to instantly spot the date hand. Changing the color doesn't help much. These versions are a little less sloppy.
I hope the VC design team will see this. Brilliant job!!!!
