Just a little something to get the worldtimer discussion going again,

as Alex showed us in his recent article. Just wanted you to know that worldtimer collectors never sleep!  Tim
Just a little something to get the worldtimer discussion going again,
Tim, while I support you in your quest for a VC WT,...

...I'll be pushing first for a VC HL edition I wonder if the development team looks for a link to the past when choosing the new models to be released, and in that sense if the fact that VC has done so few WT watches (has there been any other model done than the one that is often shown on the HL) means that it is less likely that we will ever see one coming out?
VC made 2 rather inelegant worldtimers in the 90s called

Phidias WT Evasion (made for the Japanese market) scans taken from the net. What I can say is what my teachers spent years writing in my report cards "Can do better"! Now for those who are waiting for a VC worldtime model from what I've seen its going to be something quite surprising

Will be a trhill to see! Hope it'll be a gorgeous one.

Maybe a sporty look instead of regular dressy one
Alex, it had been a while since your last tease...

My apologies to those who own one of these watches but I think it was designs like these that led VC to lose so much ground and fall behind its rivals.  If anything, they should serve as reminders of how easy it is to fall into the pit of "ho-hum" designing. With the roll that VC is in, it will really be interesting to see the "surprising" worldtime model from VC. Personally, I hope it is functional, easy to operate, aesthetically pleasing, and most of all, affordable to mere mortals like myself.. Thanks for the tease, Alex!  You always knew how to get us aroused. Kazumi

Hopefuuly there is not a better example than these...

back. Sounds like there are quite a few goodies in the watch pipeline, very exciting! Best to you all, Tim
interesting that LA is not featured on the dial! Is that why you've

set you're on Tahiti?
Good one Alex! No, Tahiti is a just a favorite; French food mixed

with beautiful scenery of all types, warm water and Bali Hai at sunset. There is no LA on the dial due to the fact that they are on their own time and that would require 25 zones. I am crazy about LA,but my own Google town won out on this watch. Maybe I will see SF or LA on the V&C watch? Or will you go with Vancouver? Decisions, decisions, so many great cities and so little space on the worldtimer wheel ;0). Thanks for the other examples of the WT pieces, the pocket watch has some excellent lines, the stacked cities get tough on a wrist watch though. Best to all, Tim
Well... If you are accepting requests

I would prefer to see Athens instead of Cairo or Helsinki.
