Last Night in Paris, some marvelous sounds

Hello, yesterday evening, our master of ceremony Alex, a.k.a the Godfather, organized a very pleasant evening for some die-hard VC fans in Paris. After drinks and delicious appetizers at the boutique, where the team under the guidance of Jean-Yves Di Martino has done a outstanding work to make disappear any trace of the shameful actions perpetratred there, we had dinner at the Westminster Hotel on Rue de la Paix.

Of course Alex made a excellent presentation, of course the food was delicious (and hearty...) but... the ultra-thin minute repeater was there for us to play with :-)

It is impossible to explain with words the subtle pressure when you wind the mecanism, the light vibrations in your fingers when the hammers hits and the cristal clear sound of the chimes.  Nevertheless you can get a feel of the beast by checking the video posted by Alex and downloading the App dedicated to this wonder. There is an interesting game where you have to listen to the minute repeater and determine what time it is.

A huge thank you to the VC team for this superbe experience.

Have fun and dream big!

It's always great to see the Paris gang and glad you enjoyed the

Did anyone take a picture or two of the event?

I would like to add them to my scrapbook ;0)... I can only imagine what a great time and so glad the recovery is complete at the Boutique. I have never been so well received and cared for at a watch boutique in my life--and that is a fact! Best to you all, Tim

Hello Tim, yes Berny did a comprehensive photo shoot that will posted on the Hour Lounge. But what we should have done is to make a recording :-). Take care.

Sounds like a very delightful evening, Guillaume. The food, venue, the people and of course, les montres, makes it a wonderful time! Joseph
You lucky guy!

It had to just be to die for to touch that beauty. Did you strap it on and get a wrist shot? Best, Joe

Hello Joe, I must say that I did not think of putting it on my wrist as I was so taken by playing with the chimes. Other people did and I am sure that there were some wrist shots (may be Berny who was kind enough to do a comprehensive photo shoot).
