Les Historiques Chronograph Ref 47111/1

I really like the chronograph that was auctioned yesterday by Antiquorum.  Beautiful piece!

I love that watch and even more the model it was inspired from

Nice Chronograph...

Its absolutely beautiful Alex.

Is it roughly the same size as the modern version or is it slightly smaller?  As much as I like the modern Historique Chono, the original that its based on is amazing.  Was this watch  made in rose gold?

Best regards and congrats on the new Forum.

Hi Dino and welcome, to answer your questions

this model is the exact same size at the modern Historique Chrono at 36mm but looks bigger due to the lack of bezzel.

I was made in YG, RG, steel as well as RG/steel

Wow Alex,

Thats a lovely trio of Vacheron Chronographs.  The yellow gold is quite handsome but there is something about rose gold that just adds something special to a watch's appearance.  Thanks for sharing your photo and also the information about its size relative to the modern Historique Chrono.  Again congrats on the new forum, its really nicely done!

Best regards,

I have two chronographs in my modest collection...

and i have to say that my YG chronograph Historique is my favorite.

It's a modern piece but the "vintage feeling" is there.

The only thing I'm not comfortable with this beauty is its pusher. I think it is too squarish and cute. I like it more rectangular. *CL

LOL the modern ones have bigger pushers which stick out more but I can see your point
