Undoubtedly, Vacheron is the most artistic producer of the high end, I really fell in love with these watches based on Escher. What I can't figure out are the incredible hour and minute hands. In some pics, they seem to join at the end as if in an embrace. In other photos they seem to be connected, albeit, with the middle hollow to allow the wearer to enjoy the transperancy of the hands, and, therefore, also those out of this world dials. So, am I seeing things or were they made as if to conjoin at the end for a spectacular, unique effect? Nevertheless, either way, someone at Vacheron seems to have a bit of artistic genius. Lastly, why don't we find artistic marvels in the other ultra high end producers? Just a thought.
