The thread about the bespoke American 1921 reminded me a vintage watch, in which I am interested for several years: the gorgeous minute repeating cushion-form wristwatch by H.R. Ekegren, Geneva.

These watches were made in the 1930s, by Edouard Koehn and share with the American 1921 many attributes: the cushion-shaped case, the asymmetrical silvered matte dial, the small second, the crown at the top right, the Breguet hands and the numerals.

The pure style of the VC American 1921 with one of the most fascinating complications...

It is a beautiful combination of 1921 and minute repeater heart

I think Ekegren makse a great minute repeater, I have a simple pocket watch repeater from them:
