Looks like I actually may have had something to do with the launch of the Cornes de Vache!

Read Christian Selmoni, Artistic Director's interview on this excellent article by Wei Koh of Revolution on the creation of a bespoke Cornes de Vache chronograph HERE

Fantastic backstory Alex!

Do you still have a bespoke CdV in mind?

not anymore as my bespoke CdV would

have been exactly what VC launched but in steel.

In fact the original brief was a monopusher but the Lemania movement could not be modified to make it single pusher so we decided on keeping the movement as is.

Steel CdV would be freakin cool :-))

Monopusher in steel body with PG lugs...

That was the very first option in fact :-)

Very interesting article, thanks Alex for brining it to our attention.

I love any declination of this watch but the rose gold version stole my heart.

Thanks Alex.

That was a fascinating article.

The discussion of the details of the dial design and realisation were especially interesting.

I'm also glad to see the Lemania s still regarded as one of the finest chrono movements. And Vacheron has brought it to a new level.

I do hope they come out with a stainless steel version.

I think it would be as popular as the OS.

I've said it more than once, "your my hero!" ;-). (nt)

Thanks Alex. I read this interview the other day and it was facinating. I

think the CDV is one of the most gorgeous watches in production today. I think with the CDV and now Harmony Complete Calendar (have yet to see real pics and see it in real), VC has claim to actually making timepieces that can be termed "Beautiful" and "Gorgeous".

I also remember reading an interview of JCT a few years ago, where when asked about when VC will launch its new in-house chrono, he sounded more excited  of keeping the Lemania 1141 (now 1142) alive in VC collection.

I look forward to pics of Wei Koh's bespoke CDV when ready.

Just a note. The Wei Koh article in Revolution is a must read!

The pictures are also so real and so very Christian Selmoni.
