Made a visit to the VC Boutique in NY

We took advantage of the great Fall weather today and went to visit the nice people at the Boutique in NY.  Dorit, Eduardo,
Amy and Andre were charming, as usual, heart

Daisy had a chance to see the watch at the top of her wish list:

Its the diamonds embedded into the sides of the case that make this special, IMO done very tastefully and elegantly.

Don't worry guys, I had a chance to play with a couple of nice pieces myself.  I actually prefer the NY LE vsrion of the 1921:

While I like my phones to be light (can you say Iphone 5?), I love the heft of the EP Pocket Watch

Looks like you had a good time.  I have had my eye on that pocket watch since it first came out.  It still amazes me that there are an of the LE version of the 1921 left.  I must admit I am partial to the watch in your avator, however. ;-) Best regards, Robert
Thanks, the 31-Day Retrograde

may not be a significant piece out of VC's vast history.  But it is the most important one to me,  as it started me off on this VC love affair AND it was a present from my wife for our 10-year anniversary.  Therefore it will be the last one standing if any ever happens to my watch collecting hobby.  BR, Dan

I like very much the "Coushion" model. Is it again in production ? I hope so as I would like to possess on and surly many VC lovers would too. The dial is splendid with those caracteristic numerals so beautifuly art deco.
The Historiques American 1921 is in production right now

The standard version can be seen in some of Respo's posts and great pictures. The one I saw is the Limited Edition made for the VC Boutique in New York.  The dial is different and uses numerals that are more like the orginal watch from 1921.  The number of pieces for this LE is 64, in honor of the Boutique's address at the corner of 64th Street and Madison Avenue. Can't think of a better way to spend the day

...much better than most shopping trips I've accompanied my wife on frown.  Fav piece is the uber-retro 1921 NY Edition heart.
That was my favorite as well.

I know many people prefer the standard dial.  Dorit (the Boutique Manager) agrees with us though in prefering the retro dial.  laugh

it was dark because you fell asleep with your sunglasses on, like that little "smiley" I won't get alarmed but the watch kind of rings my chimes! devil Joseph
