If you have this book, if not, get it,
on page 404, it's at the bottom of the page, with black dial,
but I have once seen it with gold, as I remeber,
and that's what I have been searching.
You can see the number, 261485, and the year when it's made, 1936,
no it's not I, who has written, it's in VC's archives
A couple of weeks ago I ran in to this one,
not golden but copper-coloured dial !
The miscolouring is from a reflex in the curved glass.
The watch measures 30 mm.
And when you open it, you find these figures, let me explain.
The number is 261483, which means it's made two watches before(!),
the sister in the book !
The other hallmarks which starts with a B is importmarks for London (!) from 1937 ,
yes they had different hallmarks for several towns.
And finally the movement.
I'm truly happy for this Art Deco Vacheron&Constantin from 1936 !
And yes, I slept with it the first night
