Marine chronometre/deck watch - book recommendation

Hi guys, Recently I have became very interested in VC deck watches (thanks Dean!!!!) Can any recommend a good reference book for marine chronometre's / deck watches? Obviously a focus on VC would be preferable but I am interested in the history of both, manufacturers etc Thanks
I have a book by Marvin E. Whitney, "The Ship's Chronometer"

It focuses on two Hamilton pieces made during World War II, the M21 Ship's Chronometer and the M22 Deck Watch. But there are other sections that cover the history of Ship Chronometers. I don't have any books that specifically focuses on VC's deck watches, but would be interested in suggesstions that other Loungers may have. BR, Dan

Marine chronometers, boxed on gimbals, can be researched under the subject of ships, exploration and navigation.  Jonathan Betts has an interesting book called Time Restored.  And he is a great friend to collectors!  Deck watches may also be researched as a military topic.  For this, I'd recommend Konrad Knirim's books.  Also another person with true passion who will answer emails heart
Thanks guys
