missing watch

hi there everyone,

Please can you help me, I am looking to buy my first Vacheron and have been offered a lovely looking watch. However, I am trying to verify its authentisity. The watch is a Platinum one that has a limited number on the back, i.e. number 18. Howerver it has no notification of how many where made, the jeweller had a small booklet with it but could not find the paperwork for it. He said it was about 10 years old. He gave me the folowing reference number V8003/00P.3 but I think that is not a real one. He said it was a limited production in the Historiques range copying the style of an original 1950's watch.

I have seen one watch similar to it the Platinum Historique Chrono. However the watch I was shown had no Chrono features. I will try and get more info from the jeweller, but any help from the community would be really helpful.

Kind regards

Graham

Hi there,  Very similar, but without the dial at the botom, so what is the watch pictured, is it similar in price to the one I have been offfered and is it limited. So many questions but I really want to get to the bottom of this mistery. Thanks for your help,  Regards  Graham
