This was purchased in the mid 70's and I'm wondering if anyone knows it's model name and prod. year(s).

Thank you.

Can you provide the case and movement number? Might even find a reference number.

It'll have to be tomorrow, it's in a dry bank box.

Has anyone seen one like this? Do you know which series this is?

It looks like a skeletonized movement, cal. 1003SQ

Once you provide the serial numbers, we can confirm the year it was made and therefore the series...which is different from VC's currently. existing product lines.

Welcome to THL!

Hello, thank you.

Serial is 479603.

Thank you.

There are 2 serial numbers
09/13/2016 - 01:50

One on the case and one on the movement.  These  numbers are different and we need both of them.

On the movement? Do I have to open the watch up to get that?

The watch movement is skeletonized

So you should be able to find the serial number without opening up the watch (since you can view both sides of the movement).

If you look carefully (a loupe or maagnifier would be of great help), you will find a 6-digit number engraved on one of the plates or bridges.
