My first post and an American 1921 NYC boutique ed

Dear Hour Loungers, This is my very first post on my 2nd VC watch of the Historiques American 1921NYC boutique edition. I got this watch from a kind and nice Korean man who is working in NYC. He is right about i will like this boutique piece more than the standard production piece when I was debating which to get. It's actually a matter of taste but I am happy now because mine is definitely a boutique edition piece. A special thanks to Robin and his NYC colleagues that helped in the checking & inspection of the watch as well as the payment arrangement that had made my life so much easier. I attached a few photos for viewing where you can can see the sand blast white gold dial looking so gorgeous, limited edition of #6/64 with the movement VC 4400AS in yellow gold case. (My first YG watch) I enjoy very much reading the posts and articles in HL, tks to all of you. VC provides good watches and many good people from HL. ENJOY! Kheng-- this article is waiting for photos --

Welcome to THL! I love your NYC edition of the 1921 American! Like you, I prefer this version compared to the regular one in rose gold. It is purely a matte of personal taste, but it seems we are alike. Best Regards, Dan

Yes, you are right, it was a good catched because the previous owner found the size was too big for his wrist. This was a lucky matched of its feathers for me especially the sizes too, now I am proud to be the owner of this watch. And hope VC makes more of this American 1921 for more peoples. Best.
Making a great entrance...

Kheng - I've enjoyed your post and inparticular the lovely photographs of the newly acquired beautyheart... No wonder you're pleased! Hopefully we'll see you making regular contributions on THL. Incidentally, I love your 'profile' photograph can you tell me anything about it? Kind regards Tony
Hi Tony, Another new found investment....

Sure, he is TIGER, a rescue turning 3 next Apr 2014. He came into my life (my office) 2-1/2 years ago as a mild cute kittie. He weighs 7 kgs now and does not enjoy being fondle and will bite for attention. As he is named, he has the nature of a tiger ha hasmiley I think has the look as well and can easily pass off as a miniature one, dun u agree? He is a lover of “fishy treats”..this guy is really a guy and you could say he is my investment  just like some of my watches.
I have a similar one but just much

And what's his name?...
11/19/2013 - 12:22
Alex, a few more details about this fella please... Tony
Raoul ! His Lordship is also often used :-)
11/19/2013 - 12:53
His Lordship has a very prosperous look
11/19/2013 - 14:43
smiley  He doesn't wanna be disturbed during his frequent naps, I supposed, and doesn't take it too kindly if he did wink
OMG, a Winston Churchill look-alike ;-)

Tiger and Raoul (His Lordship) go global...

Messrs Kheng and Alex, Every picture tells a story. Tiger, without question, looks a handful and upto all sorts of tricks whilst HL makes it clear that he rules the roostcheeky. With worldwide publicity before them, who knows, they could steal the limelight from under our feet! Best wishes Tony
