After a long time, I have all four of these timepieces together in one place, because the Rolex and VC Extra Thin just came back from servicing. The Rolex GMT Master is from early 1972. The Cartier is from the mid-80's. The VC Patrimony Extra-Thin is from the early 90's (I think 1989/90). The Patrimony Traditionelle is new - bought early this year. Nice to have all 4 together.
quite a collection, each a perfect representation of the period they

were made. I have a soft spot for the Patrimony Traditionalwink
Humble? It's wonderful and covers all possible occassions

Alex, I was not able to take very good close-up photos. Will try again. But I am attaching 1 more photo.
Another great example

After many attempts, these are the best I got. I really need to practise my photography skills.
wasn't your extra flat part of Phaidon's 999 best designs ever?

Yes...it is a small watch by today's standards, but it

it Mesmerizing. There is 'something' special about it. Since mine is circa early 90's, it does not have a transparent back.
Humble maybe but very nice anyway.

A watch for any occasion. We seem to share the same love for Patrimony and GMT.

As of now, it is the Rolex.  It is an early 1973 model, and originally a wedding present my mom gave my dad. I recently had it serviced after 20-25+ years, and have been wearing it regularly.
