Good morning Mr Ghotbi,

the octagonal case of my VC is absolutely rare. It is a 44023 ref. with 1121 automatic caliber, yellow gold. A very fine and interesting watch made in the '80s. Have you never seen it before?

May you give me futher information about this model?

I think ref. 39001 is a rare watch too..

All vintage VCs are rare when you think about it

VC has never been a high volume manufacturer, and much, much less annual production in the past than even today. That said, the shape of the watch in your first picture is not seen very often.

I like that none of your watches are round, which represents a very large percentage of watches sold.

Welcome to THL!

From what figures I could find, Patek produces about 50k per year, Audemars Piguet about 32K and Vacheron Constantin, 18K. Of the 18K, 20-25% are Overseas. Obviously, they may change over time, but all three companies want to keep the numbers at a level that they can keep the quality at the level they wish to maintain.

Nice to see you!

All of them are two hand watches for the experienced.

Thank you for showing your collections.
