Is my watch a Patrimony?

I have a watch that was passed on to me by my father who received it as a gift around 1945.  I've looked at picures of the Patrimony and it looks identical with the exception that the face only has the name Vacheron Constantin without the four arm cross logo.  Is this possible?

Was it an earlier model, perhaps less expensive?  It is solid yellow gold with sapphire glass face cover and extremely thin.
Hard to know just from the description...

Hi Steve and welcome! You might want to upload a few pics includind dial, back, showing any numbering; and if you can get the cack off easily, a shot of the movement and the inside of the case. Macro shots are best. Most point & shoot cameras these days have a macro function. Regards, Joseph
not a Patrimony as the models were launched in 2000 something but

if you post a scan we may be able to help you. You can also ask a watcmaker to open the case back and give us the numbers inscribed in it.
