the technology revolution has begun!

Thanks Alex (and HL technical people), a quite useful addition!

Another technical change I would propose to the Lounge (not sure if it has been already suggested) is to increase the number of posts per page.

The conversations around each topic evolve so quickly, 2 days after being posted a topic might be pushed back to the 4th page, and by that time the conversation kinda dies down... It might make it easier to keep some of the topics going by making it easier to access them (ie, just having to scroll down the page rather than clicking each page and having to wait for them to load..). I am only talking for myself, but unless I have been offline for a few days, or there is one topic I am particularly keen on, I will often limit my browsing to the first few pages, and assume the olders topics have gone cold.

I know a few have suggested that each new post be marked as such, to be able to see quickly what has been added recently. I think that this is a great idea, but would work even better if it was done in conjunction with longer pages with more posts...

Anyway, just my 2 cents...

Cheers,

Veillotron

the tech people tell me that having more posts on one page

would reduce the overall image quality so we can have only 50 posts per page. The next upgrade will feature a new post icon and a possibility to see only new posts made during a chosen period.

I am looking forward to those new technology upgrades...

I guess by being able to see only the new posts will solve the posts/page issue

Thanks!

good!
