New Malte Perpetual Calendar Chronograph model...

Hi, I am new to this forum, so I am not sure if this subject has been discussed before.

I have been dreaming of buying a Malte Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Platinum (model 47112)- I just love the sculpted monochrome moonphase... Now that I just might be able to afford it, I have started to look into buying one.

Anyway, I heard that the model will be discontinued, and will be replaced by a new perpetual calendar chronograph (model 47212). It is supposed to be slightly more expensive, but it will be a LE with only 50 watches. The new model, to be released in September, will still have the sculpted moonphase, but apparently the whole dial will be platinum.

Would any of you have a picture of the new model? I would love to get a sneak peak…

here is some info

this watch was discussed a few weeks back in the thread below, however it seems to still be under embargo and our moderator cannot tell us more for the moment :-(

amazing watch and the moonphase would almost justify purchasing the watch all by itself!!!

As far as I know it will not be discontinued, the model you are referring to is a limited edition piece which will be in addition to the regular production model but as stated above the watch is still under embargo but trust me you'll have tonds of info and scans as soon as embargo is lifted

Thank you very much Tourbillon and Alex for the pictures as well as the info!!!!!

You have no idea how happy I am to hear that the LE model will be 42mm - I am a big fan of bigger watches (maybe too much exposure to the Hublot BB...)!! While I didn't mind the more classical size of the 47112 (and of the Perpetual Calendar Retrograde), the only critic I had for those watches was the fact that they were slightly too thick proportionally to their width...

I can't wait to see some further pictures of the new model!!

Cheers

I'm sure you'll be delighted :-)
