Thank you again for such a hearthy welcome. This is my first VC, coming from a sister brand camp, although the one I had in mind initially was the gray Overseas. When the day arrived to walk to the AD to collect my my Overseas the assistant showed me this piece which came in a couple of days ago. He strongly advised me to " take" it as there was no certainty that it will be made available again at his dealership, having sold one months back. After a couple of Q & A sessions and a complimentary espresso, deal is done. Admittedly, the aesthetics take a bit of a getting used to, but I'm loving it now, although not being my daily wearer. As someone who knows next to nothing about watch movements,I noticed that the turns required is fairly high before being fully wound. Other than that, it is a real beau... Looking foward to every occasion that would allow me to put it on my wrist. Apologise if my post is getting a bit too long. Best wishesto everybody here from me@GMT+7.
You've gotten one of the best offing in the collection...

You handsome devil . How about a "day in the life of" review of your wonderful American 1921? Pretty please...

Brolin Jr. The WSJ magazine described him as blend of old-Hollywood ruggedness of Humphrey Bogart with the edgy cool of '70s Jack Nicholson. What a compliment....

I just bought a 1921 today so I share your joy. I think there is only one at retail in all of the US right now since I bought mine. But I am firmly in Texas and do not intend to travel with my watch. So unless you journey to southwest Fort Worth I am not likely to infringe on the uniqueness of your beautiful timepiece.
