Overseas Chronograph Band

Love my new Overseas Chrono, it is only 4 months old, and its very accurate.  However, I have a vexing problem that I am asking for feed back / help with.  The clasp release, the part you push in to release the band came apart.  The button ( one of two ) fell off and numerous little peices came with it!  Now I am unable to wear the watch!  Anyone else have this issue?  I know its under warranty but I think VC should be made aware of the problem so they can figure out how to correct it.

Not good! Did this happen after a shock? You should definately

send it back and have your retailer bring this problem to the knowledge of the folks at VC.

On the other hand this is the first time I've heard of a similar problem so it  is maybe not a construction issue but only an isolated QC problem.

Glad that you like your Overseas though and welcome to the Lounge

never encountered such a problem with mine NT

Took it to my local A D and they are sending it to V.C. which is what I expected.  Wondering how many weeks I will be without it?  Had hoped for a quicker resolution.  Also concerned that I will be getting another one like the last one and the issue will surface again.  Having checked with this Forum, thePurist, and TimeZone no one has reported a similar problem.  So I am hoping I am not getting an "Oklahoma" guarantee.  Regardless, thanks all for responding, I will miss my VC!  This may sound a little dramatic but that watch likes being worn every day.  And as I wore it every day it started keeping better and better time down to within a second or two a week!

Thanks so much

hope you get it back rapidly (nt)
