Overseas chronograph question

Dear community -

Please allow this newbie to extend a question - I have owned an Overseas Chronograph for about 5 years now - I usually wear it everyday or store it in my winder when not wearing it.  Over the past year or so, I have noticed that some mornings my watch will have stopped at some point during the night.  Given that I am not Rumplestiltskin (although I am a heavy sleeper / I guess I don't move a great deal in my sleep), is this normal or is there something wrong with my timepiece?  I fear sending it back to VC since the last time I did that when the 10 marker on the dial inexplicably fell off, they took nearly 10 months to repair it.  Any thoughts would be welcome...
Did you consider having it serviced? It's been 5 years...

Just about time to have it overhauled... sounds like your daily beater could use some time at the spa and I'm sure it'd do him some goodwink
