Dear all,

I don't understand why VC does not use its own in-house movement with the Geneva seal in the Overseas.

I can understanf this for the chrono as they don't have an in-house movement. But why for the simple one ?

Thanks

Thanks to all of you for the answers. On my side I would prefer it without a display bak and with the antimagnetic iron case. Best.
There are better ways

to make a movement anti-magnetic that would still allow a display back.  Silicon hairsprings are the latest technology, along with special materials for balance wheels.  The Omega coaxial movements have these properties AND display backs.
