Overseas Rose Gold - Limited?

I first saw the VC Overseas (small) white face at Tourneau in Las Vegas in November and fell in love with the overall design (especially the bracelet), however the size seemed feminine compared to the Overseas (dual) 42mm.  Then, I saw the Overseas 42mm in Taiwan in both black and white face.  The size was unfamiliar to me, because I was used to wearing a smaller, lighter and slimmer Longines that I have had for over ten years.  I believed that my wrist did not flow with the larger diameter watch.  I have been searching for an aesthetically pleasing slim everyday automatic watch for the last 6-7 years.  The retailer told me to look at Rolex, especially since I really liked outdoor activities (mountiain biking, golf, etc.) and it was smaller in diameter.  I pondered and just could not get myself to buy something so common.  Then, mid December, I visited the VC boutique in Hong Kong and saw the Overseas 42mm black face with a rose gold bezel.  I was still in love with the design and bought it.  I decided to go with the larger diameter and profile watch, contrary to my previous search for a slim automatic, the the black face and the rose gold bezel did not make the watch as imposing, compared the the white face Overseas 42mm.  Plus, the saleswoman stating that the rose gold bezel was limited in production compared to the catalog Overseas all steel, was even more compelling.

To end this long story and to pose my questions....

How many Overseas with the rose gold bezel have been made?  I just want to know how limited the saleswoman meant, if at all.

Sidenote - It is so interesting and intriguing to see that VC has so many avid connoiseurs.  I have been reading and learning so much from this forum and on the internet about VC.  I should probably stop, or at the next ten year juncture I will be writing about how many watches I have acquired, instead of the search for the all around watch for me.  Thanks for all the postings.

rare, I have never heard of it! It is steel with rose gold bezzel? Can you post a scan?

I'll check on this watch, which probably is a special edition for the Hong Kong market. You need to be a bit patient as the VC offices are closed for another week.

Welcome to the wonderful world of VC and beware your OS is your 1st VC but certainly not the last

Here is a picture of my OS that I attempted to take.  This is the only picture from my digital camera that was decent.  I am not in a hurry regarding my inquiry, I am just curious about my watch.  Thank you for your time and I look forward to learning more.

that looks like a very cool watch! Is there any specific inscription

I do not know what you mean by specific inscription.  There is the model number and the case number that matches the certificate.  The only indication of the rose gold on the certificate is the metal section states "mixte" (however, I really do not know what "mixte" means but I am guessing it means stainless steel and gold).

I was wondering if it was written on the case back what the watch

was made for.  You are correct "Mixte" is French for two tone.
